Ready for what's next

Application Developer & ERP Engineer

I build software that lives in production — ERP customizations, API integrations, and AI-native tooling that businesses actually depend on. From legacy 4GL to MCP servers, I adapt to whatever the environment requires and stay in the room until it works. Certified Sage X3 developer; big fan of clean documentation and the right tool for the job.

What I've built

Five years of turning business requirements into working software — from gaming labs to ERP consultancy.

Application Developer
Apr 2023 – Present
RKL eSolutions
  • Delivered 100+ custom Sage X3 modifications and 10+ third-party integrations for clients in distribution and manufacturing — some processing hundreds of invoices daily
  • Built and productized the ShipStation integration end-to-end: syncs X3 deliveries to shipping orders and fetches tracking numbers back under high-volume production load; RKL sells it as a recurring-revenue product to ~5 clients
  • Built a browser extension to extract data directly from Sage X3 — no prior export path existed — enabling downstream integrations that weren't previously possible
  • Building an internal project management platform (React + Vite, Salesforce + ITGlue APIs, MCP server) where users can ask Claude about their data and the app itself — self-documenting software that explains itself on demand
  • Work directly with clients throughout every project: requirements gathering, design reviews, live debugging, and communication with stakeholders from deeply technical to non-technical
SQL Report Writer & Data Analyst
Nov 2022 – Apr 2023
Gaming Laboratories International
  • Built and maintained a portfolio of 20+ SSRS reports, SSIS packages, and Power BI dashboards
  • Built data pipelines to support operational reporting across the organization
  • Designed advanced dashboards to surface insights for executive decision-making
  • Wrote highly optimized SQL queries and complex stored procedures to power reporting across the organization
  • Delivered detailed dashboards that gave leadership a clear view of business performance
Test Engineer II
Jul 2021 – Nov 2022
Gaming Laboratories International
  • Tested slot machines and electronic table games for regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions
  • Represented technical findings and regulatory position simultaneously in high-stakes compliance meetings attended by both clients and regulators
  • Built AutoHotKey scripts and custom tooling to automate repetitive test workflows, materially improving team throughput
Application Developer Intern
Summers 2018 & 2019
RKL eSolutions
  • Worked alongside a senior developer on both existing client projects and new builds in Sage X3
  • Picked up new tools and platforms quickly to contribute to real client work from the start

Outside the terminal

When the laptop is closed, here's where you'll find me.

🚴
Endurance Cycling
Most weekends I'm out for 50 to 80 miles on whatever mix of road and gravel looks good on the map. No races, no Strava segments to chase. Just good miles and the occasional gas station snack stop.
🏓
Table Tennis
I've been playing for a couple of years and I'm fully in on the equipment side. Currently running a Stiga Legacy Carbon blade with Skyline 3 rubbers. I actively seek out competitive games, which is a polite way of saying I will challenge basically anyone I see near a table.
🍵
Chinese Tea
Full gongfu setup, proper teaware, and a strong preference for pu'erh. Ripe is my usual go-to. It's a slow process and that's entirely the point. Twenty minutes of doing nothing except paying attention to tea is genuinely good for you.
Personal Productivity
I build complex spreadsheets for just about everything: finances, fitness, cycling stats, and whatever else needs a good tracking system. I'm also a heavy Claude user and genuinely enjoy finding new ways to get the most out of AI in day to day life.
